Position statement on the ePrivacy Regulation
May 20th 2021 will signal the start of the trilogue phase for the ePrivacy Regulation and ESOMAR is working hard to release a position statement that reflects the interests and needs of the audience measurement eco-system, making sure that the final version of the text takes into consideration its priorities, role and the safeguards currently in place within this sector.
To do so, ESOMAR is spearheading a Coalition of actors consisting of the leading global and European associations representing stakeholders' interests providing or using audience measurement.

Talking Insights: Tech Edition
We’re proud to share a new subseries of our Talking Insights podcast, the Tech Edition. Each instalment will see our host Srikar Govindaraju dive into key tech topics alongside researchers, thought leaders, and innovators worldwide.
The first instalment is out now and takes an in-depth look at the recently revealed EU AI Regulation; how it can shape innovation, affect businesses and the sector, and what inspiration it may provide worldwide.
Srikar is joined for this episode by Claudio Gennaro, and Bianca Marcu, PhD researcher with the Law, Science, Technology, and Society research group at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels.

Srikar Govindaraju
ESOMAR Staff, Senior Standards Programmes Coordinator at ESOMARSrikar Govindaraju is the Senior Standards Programmes Coordinator at ESOMAR, part of the Government Affairs and Professional Standards team. Srikar first joined ESOMAR as a consultant to the Government Affairs and Professional Standards team, before joining full time as part of ESOMAR's Brussels based team in late 2020.
As Senior Standards Programmes Coordinator, Srikar works closely with the Professional Standards Committee, as well as on disciplinary proceedings, and the Plus consultancy service. Srikar also program manages and hosts the Talking Insights podcast series, curating content and inviting guests to share their insights with ESOMAR's members and beyond. He is also the coordinator of the Research Got Talent initiative, working closely with associations around the world to run the competition.
Prior to joining ESOMAR Srikar worked for Mercedes-Benz. He holds an LLB from the University of Birmingham, an LLM from Maastricht University, and is a certified Data Protection Officer.
