ESOMAR is sad to report that our CEO, Dr Parves Khan will be leaving us at the end of June to focus on her charitable and non-executive roles supporting early stage ventures in the area of gender equity, data and tech, before taking up a new position (announced in due course). This work builds on her upcoming book “The Power of Women: Stop blocking and start empowering women at work” published early next year, and her recent selection as one of the UN Commission’s UK delegates on the Status of Women.

However, we are delighted that Dr Khan will continue her relationship with ESOMAR by being part of the new AI Taskforce led by President Ray Poynter, which will tackle the urgent and important issue of AI, insights, and society.

I have enjoyed working with Parves, who brought strong leadership during her tenure, fresh perspectives, and something quite new to the ESOMAR mix. I am really looking forward to working with Parves on the topic of AI.

ESOMAR President Ray Poynter

Whilst I am sad to be leaving ESOMAR, and will particularly miss working with the team and regularly connecting with ESOMAR members, I am looking forward to dedicating myself more fully to my efforts to making a difference for girls and women, especially women in tech. In addition, I am honored by the invite to be part of the AI taskforce and contributing to this important topic.

Dr Khan

Over the next couple of months, Dr Khan will be winding down her commitments, so you will be seeing her representing us at some upcoming events, before devoting herself to her new role.
