If you are interested in learning more about the biggest opportunities and most pressing challenges facing our industry today, look no further. There’s still time to register for North America’s premier market research and insights event of 2023: The Future of Insights Summit in Toronto, June 5-6.
The result of a powerhouse industry collaboration between ESOMAR, The Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC) and Certified Analytics and Insights Professionals of Canada (CAIP Canada), this event taps into the groups’ collective organizational knowledge and connections. The result is a session lineup featuring leading industry experts who will be covering the topics you care about: data quality, AI and ChatGPT, the metaverse, Web3, restech, how to prove ROI and much more. The conference agenda includes talks from companies such as Mondelēz International, Inc., McCain Foods, TD Bank, Irving Consumer Products, Bell, Movember and others, presenting on best practices, emerging technologies and the evolution of the insights field.
Kicking off the Future of Insights Summit are two much-anticipated pre-conference workshops on Sunday, June 4:
“How to Design Questionnaires that People Want to Answer” with Annie Pettit, PhD. This popular masterclass is designed for both agency and corporate researchers who wish to build on their foundational questionnaire design knowledge and create better research experiences for people. During the workshop, participants will learn everything from the psychology behind questionnaire experiences all the way to writing questions that are respectful, fun, playful, kind - while also encouraging complete and thoughtful answers. Attendees will leave with a set of resources that can be leveraged in a range of future questionnaires.
“Finding and Communicating the Story in the Data” with Ray Poynter. This class will cover the framework and tools researchers need to confidently and reliably work with ever-larger information sets to find and communicate valuable solutions. Anyone who works with data will learn a step-by-step approach that covers the process of uncovering and telling the story in the data: from defining the problem and assessing the evidence to creating and communicating the story to spur positive action within organizations.
The main conference program starts the next day on Monday June 5 with ESOMAR President Ray Poynter’s keynote address, “Predictions for the Future of Insights.” He’ll cover topics such as data quality management, plus transformative technology and digital trends, such as generative AI, and how issues like the global talent shortage and economic upheaval are impacting our industry. The rest of the day is packed with sessions that will help attendees navigate new trends surrounding data quality, sampling, neuroscience and much more.
The first day of the conference closes out with a networking happy hour in the exhibit hall for attendees to connect with their peers, colleagues, clients and friends before checking out the beautiful city of Toronto for the evening. The second full day of the conference on Tuesday June 6 includes several more outstanding sessions covering brand insights, and closely examining how AI and other technological advancements are affecting the market research space.
Join the growing list of market research insights professionals who are already registered to attend and get ready to learn more about trends that are directly impacting the researcher’s daily job, best practices from leading brands, and how to future-proof the insights function from the ground up.
