With the recent announcement that ESOMAR is partnering with mTab to elevate the Insight250 honours, the awards have named Crispin Beale as its chief executive officer overseeing the operations, nominations and selection processes.

Beale has been a mainstay in market research and consumer insights for over 25 years. He currently serves as a United Kingdom Representative for ESOMAR and is a long term Board Director, and past Chair of the Market Research Society (MRS). He is currently a strategic advisor for Behaviorally and mTab, a leading provider of insight solutions and the creator of the Insight250. Beale is also the former Group CEO of Chime Insight & Engagement Group and previously led global insight teams at Dixons Stores Group, BT and Royal Mail Group. His writings are featured regularly by leading industry publications including Research Live and Research World.

With the stratospheric growth of the Insight250, particularly in terms of the partnership with ESOMAR, we needed a individual who is a leader and innovator in market research to oversee the Insight250 operations. More importantly though, we wanted a connector of professionals across the global insights community and Crispin’s experience and network is incredible in this realm. He is also an inaugural Insight250 honoree, so he was an obvious choice.

Crispin has led both agencies and enterprise teams, held advisor/consultant roles, and has worked in our space across EMEA, APAC and the US for nearly three decades; Crispin also has extensive experience of working with global associations from Australia to the US and has been a UK MRS Board Member for 15 years so he knows our space inside out. We’re delighted that he has agreed to come on board and help drive Insight250 forwards.

The inaugural Insight250 list was revealed on April 19, 2021, featuring leaders, innovators, visionaries and pioneers focused on elevating and enhancing market research, consumer intelligence and data-driven marketing.
