General Overview
Are you looking to improve the quality of surveys your company produces? Does your company run any surveys that you don’t think are working very well and are in need of fixing or a bit of an upgrade or redesigning? That bloated tracker or a tired custom sat survey, a survey with one too many Likert scales or repetitive loops of questions that you know people get bored answering. Are you planning to develop new surveys and want to ensure they stand out?
…Well, come to this workshop to learn how to design and improve your surveys and fix some common problems with surveys that deliver poor data.
What will you learn?
Techniques to help you engage participants in your research.
How to write and design questions better to get more thoughtful and truthful answers.
How to structure your surveys and develop a survey narrative to bring them to life.
Some of the analysis techniques you can use to spot the problems with surveys.
How to de-bias your questions to ensure more inclusive participation and feedback.
Who should attend?
This is a workshop for any research professional who commissions or creates surveys.
If you are a client who does not create surveys yourself, this workshop will teach you all the key things to look out for to ensure your research companies produce the best quality surveys and help you write better research briefs.
If you are an experienced survey designer, this workshop will help to bring you up to speed on all the latest and best techniques of effective, empathetic survey design.
Programme Overview
The day will be made up of learning and practical exercises and challenges – you will be having a go at re-writing some survey questions and designing survey narratives. It will be fun, and you will be challenged, but there will be no expectations on your skill and experience levels.
