ESOMAR proudly announces the appointment of our new South African Market Representative.
We are excited to welcome Jan as our new South African Market Representative. With over 30 years in the industry, Jan brings extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative research, having worked across 21 countries. His career began in South Africa, and he has since held roles at different research firms in South Africa, the UK, and Ireland.
Jan has been deeply involved with the Southern African Marketing Research Association (SAMRA), serving as Chairperson and contributing to the development of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) for the research industry in South Africa. Currently, as Managing Director of MarkData (Pty) Ltd, Jan has earned multiple industry awards and is committed to advancing research practices.
As an ESOMAR member since 2018, Jan is eager to expand ESOMAR’s influence in South Africa by engaging with local companies and strengthening ties with industry bodies like SAMRA. His goal is to enhance awareness of ESOMAR’s benefits and support the growth of the research community.
This appointment reflects ESOMARs ongoing dedication to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the global market research community. We believe that the diverse expertise and passion of our new representative will contribute significantly to the mission and vision of ESOMAR.
