Solutions Consultant at Schlesinger GroupKatee is based in Nashville, TN and has been in the market research industry for over 10 years, joining Schlesinger Group through the acquisition of 20|20 Research. In her career, she has been in roles all around the business providing her a unique perspective; from phone recruiter, survey programmer, panel and social media manager, project manager, and now as a digital qualitative subject matter expert. Katee has a knack for coming up with fresh, innovative solutions to complex problems, so the evolving digital qual space has been a perfect fit.
Jeff Walkowski
Principal at QualCore.comJeff is the principal of QualCore.com Inc., a consulting firm providing traditional and online qualitative research services to a wide range of industries including health care, financial services, automotive, and information services. He was educated as a quantitative specialist and entered the industry in the 1980s as a statistician. He later discovered his talents as a Moderator and evolved into a qualitative specialist by the mid-1990s.
Jeff’s specialty is online qualitative research. He has conducted over 700 online sessions (real-time chats and multi-day message boards); he has spoken about online qualitative research at conferences in North America, Europe, and Asia; and he has published articles on the subject. Jeff co-chaired the Online Qualitative Research Task Force of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association, co-editedQualitative Research Online(Research Publishers LLC, 2004), and co-developed a training course to help traditional Moderators adapt their skills to the online environment. Jeff is also the author of Qualitative Market Research online course, offered by the University of Georgia|MRII.
Michael Mermelsteim
Executive Vice President/Partner at Nichols ResearchMichael manages Nichols Research, an opinion and market research firm that specializes in qualitative research. He is a Riva trained moderator and is an experienced moderator conducting in-person focus groups, online focus groups and moderated online communities, as well as conducting hundreds of in-depth interviews across a wide spectrum of topic areas.
As a leader of the research profession, he is a currently President of the QRCA Board of Directors and a Past President of the Board of Directors for the Market Research Institute International (MRII). He is also a Past President of the Marketing Research Association (now known as the Insights Association). Michael currently serves on IA’s government affairs committee He is honored to have received an Honorary Lifetime Membership from MRA, and is also a recipient of the MRA’s Distinguished Service Award.

CRIC was established in August of 2018 following the bankruptcy of the former Canadian marketing research association.
